Barnegat & Brigantine Trip Photos

Yesterday, YESC braved the strong winds and waves along the Atlantic to view some overwintering bird species that will be migrating shortly for Canada and the Arctic.

Highlights included the Harlequin Duck, Purple Sandpiper, Red-throated Loon, Common Loon, Old Squaw, Surf Scoter, Ruddy Turnstone, Eider, Great Cormorant, Snow Geese, Peregrine Falcon, Green Teal, Pintail Duck, Northern Shoveler

Special thanks to Chris Walters and Delaware Valley Ornithological Club (DVOC) for leading this annual trip. This was our ninth year!
